I’m a Fellow Chartered Accountant (India) from ‘The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’ & Commerce Graduate from The Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam. I have also successfully completed the Certificate Course on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) by ICAI.
I’m the Owner / Proprietor of N Ghorawat & Co (Chartered Accountants) at Surat, Gujarat.
Prior to starting on my own, I did my articles training at Kamal Chand Jain & Co (Chartered Accountants), Guwahati, Assam.
I am professionally interested in Direct Taxes – Advisory & Litigation; Regulatory Tech & Accounting Automation.
I have been blogging on matters of professional interest since 2009. I have previously also written pro bono on current affairs & ideas for pgurus (dot) com.
I have been participating in the CPE Conferences of ICAI, etc. as Speaker / Trainer.
I have also contributed an article titled “XBRL: The Future of Financial Reporting” in a Souvenir published by the Guwahati Branch of EIRC of ICAI for their National Conference, 2011.
